The University of Cádiz (UCA), a national benchmark in underwater research and marine technology, has officially certified the Hull Hero system as a technology suitable for residue collection during hull cleaning and water filtration prior to its return to the sea.

The certification process took place at the Port of Algeciras, during a water test supervised by a team of experts from the UCA, which confirmed the effectiveness of Randal Systems’ patented system in minimizing environmental impact during port operations.

With this recognition, Hull Hero becomes the first Spanish-certified sustainable hull cleaning solution, aligned with upcoming international marine protection standards and the principles of the Blue Economy.

This milestone reinforces Randal Systems’ commitment to innovation, sustainability, and technological excellence, leading the development of solutions that combine operational efficiency with marine environmental protection.
